Little Beach Cafe at Bel Air offers a quietly inviting spot for those seeking a straightforward yet satisfying coffee experience near Broadbeach. Positioned just off the main strip at 33 Alexandra Ave, it tends to attract locals and holidaymakers looking for a quick caffeine fix paired with simple, fresh breakfast options rather than a lengthy brunch linger.

The cafe's real draw is its attentive coffee craft—regulars appreciate how the baristas recall their exact preferences, tailoring drinks like double-strength cappuccinos or perfectly crafted chai lattes. It’s a place where the coffee hits just right, whether you’re after a hot mocha, an iced long black on a sunny afternoon, or a smooth Japanese green tea that’s clearly prepared with care.

Food-wise, the offerings are modest but reliable, featuring wholesome grabs like rustic egg and bacon rolls, fresh pastries, and banana bread, all served mostly in takeaway containers. This suits those in a hurry or beach-bound visitors who want something tasty on the go without fuss. While seating is limited, the cafe maintains a relaxed vibe with a friendly and familiar atmosphere where the owners and staff recognize regular faces and foster casual, warm exchanges.

  • Best for: quick coffee stops, light breakfast or snack, casual catch-ups
  • Who will enjoy it: locals who appreciate consistent coffee quality and approachable service, travelers seeking a low-key morning pick-me-up
  • Best time to visit: mornings and early afternoons, especially when passing through on the way to nearby Broadbeach beach or accommodation
  • Atmosphere: small and cozy with a friendly, personalized touch rather than a bustling cafe scene

Overall, Little Beach Cafe feels less like a destination and more like a reliable pit stop that locals rely on for good coffee and familiar faces. Its focus on quality over quantity and the ease of takeaway service match the surrounding laid-back beachside lifestyle well.

This is such a lovely little cafe. The owners are very friendly, and the coffee is delicious. Don't expect an extensive menu, but the offerings are tasty and delivered with a smile.

We absolutely loved this little cafe when we stayed at Bel Air for our holiday. Delicious coffee, such kind people working there and yummy egg and bacon rolls and pastries. Would recommend

We visited Little Beach Café at Bel Air today. The staff were very polite and friendly, and the coffee was really good. Everything was served in takeaway containers, which made it feel more like a grab-and-go place rather than somewhere to sit and relax over breakfast. I ordered the pancakes — they were tasty, and my partner had the rustic bacon and egg roll, which was also delicious. Overall, a nice experience, though I wish they offered dine-in plates to enjoy the food more comfortably.

So this coffee and atmosphere here is created with love. The taste and quality of the coffee is really precise. No tea from a bag but beautifully fresh and dried. The food and ingredients are so goood and freshAnd the service? Amazing!! For me I can only recommend. Because I'm a big fan of places with good coffee and a relaxed vibe

Lenka & Mira are so friendly and remember your face, name & coffee requests! (Double strength, 3/4 full, 2 sugars and warm not hot)! The atmosphere in the gorgeous cafe is so inviting and pleasant. The food was 10/10! The coffee and chia lattes were always as we requested. It’s a small cafe but leaves a BIG impression and definitely recommend you try it out! We’ll be back. Thank you Lenka & Mira for loving what you do and allowing your patrons to feel that too! Con & Anne

Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Beautiful service, making you feel right at home. The girls and I came down from Melbourne and instantly felt so welcomed when coming downstairs for our morning coffees. Absolutely delicious freshly made food as well, definitely made with love. All I can say to describe the cafe is the best
